Push cameras can cost a pretty penny. So when you shell out that much for a piece of equipment, you should protect it. Our camera maintenance video shows tips for protecting your machine and how to take care of it before jobs.

First, don’t use it to clear blockages. Second, don’t use it in the same line as a cable machine or jetter. When pulling the camera out of the line, wipe the rod down with a cleaning solution on a rag. At the end of the day, check the camera head for damage and signs of water ingress. Finally, remove and clean the fittings for all centering devices then place one back on the camera to protect the threads during transport.

If you follow all of these steps, your inspection camera will last longer and work better.
